Tastebuds, are you still alive??

I am on my third week of being sick and I can’t wait for the day when I can wake up without feeling like I have a heavy head. This has never happened to me before. So far I have experienced the flu for an entire week which then led to constant headaches, a raw nose because of how often I have to blow my nose, chapped lips, and a sore throat. I’ve also lost four pounds in the first week because I lost interest in eating since I can’t taste anything. HOW AWFUL IT IS NOT TO BE ABLE TO TASTE FOOD OR SMELL AROMAS!
